I will be having my fourth child in Sept. This baby will be delivered by C-section since I have had three other sections. My question is, has anyone had their tubes tied and had a harder recovery after doing it? I know what its like to recover from a c-section but I was wondering will it be different with having the tubes tied..

Katrina,
I had the same experience of burning in my pelvis for like a day after my c-section with my youngest. Awful sensation. But Shelly, I didn't have any difficulties healing or doing anything. My hubby didn't want me to walk up the stairs in our home and I can totally understand why!!!

I just had my third child in june. It was also my third c-section and I decided to tie my tubes. For me it was a harder recovery then my previous 2 c-sections. With my first two the recovery was painful but I was able to get threw it without taking pain pills. This last time I needed pain medication and I was fine. I also noticed that I felt a burning pain in my pelvis that lasted for about 2 weeks. They said that was normal and was from the tube tieing.

I have Had 3 c-sections and with my last I had my tubes tied, they did it while I was on the table about 5 min after they got Calleigh out. And to be honest I didnt even notice a diffrence. The only thing they did that was diffrent was made me stay in the recovery room about 20 min longer than the prior sections!
