my initial bleeding stopped at around 3-4weeks then it was 6-7 weeks after that that I got my first period. My son is now 6 months and have only had my period twice since he was born. I am bottlefeeding but I'm not sure that actually has anything to do with periods just shrinking your uterus back to its original size.

I was breastfeeding, and started 10 weeks (I think). I had some odd ones like Jenn. As I remember my first one was really light and only lasted a few days. They didn't really regulate for me until my daughter was 9/10 months. But that could have been the breastfeeding.

After my c-section, i didnt bleed much. I thought i was getting it but it was spotty and short. It will go back to normal eventually. Always keep pads/tampons with you just in case. I always kept a few in the diaper bag, if i used them -great, if not, no harm no foul. :)
