I had a c section on July 5th and I'm still dealing with numbness throughout my left butt cheek and swelling in my butt and upper thighs. Did anyone else have this side effect and when will it go away?? I did have extreme swelling in my entire lower body but my feet are back to normal now.

my swelling didnt go down for about a month and my stomach is still swelled it just recently went down about an inch. the doc told me that it takes longer for it to go away after a c section than vb. and some friends of mine even told me it took them a year.

I see my dr on Monday so I'm going to ask him about it. I'm pretty sure it's from the epidural...just wondering if anyone else had the same thing happen to them.

Did you ask your doctor about it? that doesn't sound normal!!!!! I didn't have that. Sounds like something with your spinal or the epidural.
