Since July is almost over I figured I'd start a thread where we can discuss possible books for August. Anybody can contribute ideas, and we can all discuss which to pick. Then we can post a new thread to let everybody know the chosen vote. So... ideas??



I suggest reading The Queen's Lady by Barbara Kyle. She's a Canadian author living in Ontario, and I just finished reading her book The King's Daughter which was about King Henry VIII's daughter "Bloody Mary" and the English rebellion leading to heretics burning at the stake. It was excellent. :)

Vanishing Acts was a great book! i also have The Birth House on to be read pile!

"the birth house" by Ami McKay, suppose to be a good book and it takes place in Nova Scotia around the first world war. I just picked it up to read. I also just picked up Vanishing Acts by Jodi Picoult, also recommended by a friend.
