I also read the twilight series, i finished all 4 books in 6 days. i loved them. last week i read a book called "The Translator" by Daoud Hari, it is a true story about a mans journey in Dafur. it is a good book. it makes you very thankful for the peaceful country we live in. i couldn't imagine going through what he did or what anyone in Darfur goes through every day.
I started to read "Push" by Sapphire on Sunday at 4:00pm and was finished it at about 1:00am. it was a good book. i recommend reading it.
I am now reading "My sisters keeper" it is really good so far.
I love to read and would love to hear everyone recommendations on what great books they have read that they want to pass along to rec me to read.
another good book i read that is a good book for moms is called "Mothers need time-outs too" by Susan Callahan, Anne Nolen & Katrin Schumann
"Circle of Stones" by Judith Duerk is a good book for women to read.
i have so many other great books the list could go on forever lol but i will end it there.

I just finished reading "Relic" by Douglas Preston. It was very good. I also just loved the Shack, that was such a good book.. just had to comment on that. I find when I read I fixate on one writer, read almost all they have and then get bored and move on to the next. I joined this group hoping to be introduced to some different writers, as it is hard to find a new book to read sometimes. :)

I would love to read along with you guys, I'm really into self help or networking books, but also liked the Twilght series very much.

Just Finished Jane Eyre, I haven't read it since high school.  Found a new edition with some wonderful illustrations in the graphic novel style by Dame Darcy. I loved iot then and i love it now.   I've been reading paranormal bodice rippers since I gave birth to my son. it was nice to read something classy for once.

I just read The Last Promise by Richard Paul Evans; Made in the USA by Billie Letts; and The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wrobleski. All three were pretty good. Made in the USA I read in a day, it was a little more graphic then I thought it would be, but still good, it is about a 15 year old girl and her younger brother who are homeless in Las Vegas, and the problems that they run into. The Last Promise is a love story that takes place in Italy. It was a light read, but pretty good. The Story of Edgar Sawtelle was really good, I didn't want to put it down. It is about a boy who is mute but not deaf who lives on a farm. He and his family raise a special breed of dogs called Sawtelle dogs. It was a beautiful story, but it was definitely a little sad.

I am reading Maniac Magee. My twins are in an accelerated book club at school so I am reading all the books on their list before they read them to make sure I thing they are appropriate for their age. I have already read Out of The Dust and The Giver. Interesting, but very deep.

My last three books were: The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, and The Necklace. I absolutely loved the first two books, they were amazing. I just finished the third book and I really enjoyed it too.

I'm reading the Book of Negroes. It is amazing! Its heart wrenching a times. I really have a hard time putting it down. If anyone likes historical fiction you should try this one.

The other one I read very recently was Three Cups of Tea. Again an amazing book. Its a true story of an american man who started a non-profit organization to build schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan. The power of one is unbelievable. I highly reccommend both of these books.

After this book that I'm reading right now, I am going to try and finish the Twilight series...read the first 2. My girlfriend got the whole set for Christmas so I get to borrow them!! Yay me!!
