I am expecting soon and looking for good car seat for our newborn, I strongly believe in extended RF and my son will be no where near done with his convertible by the time the baby would need it. I was looking at the new Snug Ride 32 (32" and 32lb Max) as both my other kids outgrew a basic snug ride by 4-5 months since they were incredibly tall. Suggestions Please. Also how to fit all three in my 01 Dodge Caravan. I have a double bench in the middle and a triple bench in the rear.
My oldest is in a FF Highback Booster (w Harness) soon to be moved to Nautilus. She is 37" tall and 31lbs and 3 years old.
My second is 2 years old and 23lbs and 34" tall and RF in a scenera.

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

The certified child passenger safety technician at our community fire department recommended the Sunshinekids Radian (now comes in an 80 meaning 80 lbs...) form infancy all the way up. I asked if the infant carseats were safer for infants than the convertible carseats with the infant inserts. She said that the Radian with the insert was just as safe. Check with your local fire department.

Go with a seat that is easy for you to use and install. I know the Babies R Us here has a seat that you can try buckling them into. I also have a van and have to fit 5 kids one rear facing 3 forward and one highback booster. I found that Sunshine Kids Radian is narrow enough for me to get 3 across the back seat. I only have one of those seats the others are cosco seats. The Radian does go rear facing I love it, I also have a Britax seat that sits in a captian chair and DOES NOT fit in the rear bench.

Might I suggest on when you do choose a seat I would put both rear facers in the double bench and the oldest in the third row.
