My son and I are Vegans (No meat or dairy) and believe in eating organic foods as much as possible. How can we maintain our current dietary choices on a budget? Any suggestions?

I buy bulk organic vegetables when they are on sale or special, then turn them into a variety of hearty soups and freeze them to serve as lunches. Some favourites are celery and cashew, carrot and lentil and sweet potato and apple. Yum!

Find a local coop or farms in your area. I know that you can by a share in a local farm. Not sure on the prices but I think a full season is around $300-$500 and you go every week and just a ton of just picked fruits and veggies. I know you can also get a half season and you go every other week.
Here is the link to find out more on a CSA- http://www.localharvest.org/csa/
Also for your dry goods find a trader Joe's and buy only whats on sale & buy the max quantity.
Within a month or so you should have back up of everything you eat.
I hope this helps-
