What do you miss most about working?

I just miss the paychecks!! LOL



I do actually miss the comradery. I had several friends at work and I miss them :(

Miss my colleagues and having fun at work. Not only did I leave my career but I moved to a different state. now that I'm pregnant I'll be at home for the next 5 yrs taking care of a little one. Depressing not having having friends and family close.

I felt pide and fulfillment in my profession. I also felt more productive and useful in general. I feel I suck as a SAHM! I'm a terrible cook and never seem to find the time to finish anything like cleaning/organizing stuff like I plan. I feel horrible when I loose my temper with my toddler! I especially miss feeling like I exist, as a SAHM I feel isolated from the rest of the world.

Yep, I hear you ladies. I think money was the biggest part that my husband missed, cutting our income in half, and for me it was the social aspects. I'm with you Kimberley, I have my clubhouse limits.

Hiya, I miss the independance of being able to spend what I want when I want. I saw the cutest top the other day but it was to expensive. When I was working I never worried about how much anything cost because the income would be replenished the next month. Plus the work life would give me a place back in the adult world..................... there's only so much more clubhouse this mum can take lol

Hello, Fezeka. I think the one thing I miss the most about working is bringing home a second income. I don't want to sacrafice being with my son for the extra money, but it seems to be something I am constantly thinking about lately since my son is a toddler and I wan to get him involved in things outside the home that cost.

I really miss seeing my friends on a daily basis and going to lunch with the girls. I loved my job, but I also missed being there at home with the kids. I do work at home now since we have been able to replace both mine and my husband's income, but it's nice to have the flexibility to do what I want, when I want:)
