I'm Katie. Catholic mom to 5 kids under the age of 12, including twin sons with special needs due to birth trauma. We homeschool everybody (and by we I mean me haha) and I'm also a pediatric speech language pathologist. I am looking to connect with other Catholic Moms. I've been blogging for 3 years but this year decided I wanted to share my faith front and center on my blog. Hi am a young mother and I have two daughters who are 4 and 2. I am engaged and hope too get married soon in the Catholic Church. I am Catholic and so is my fiance. I love to learn about the faith, and make sure that I incorporate the faith through raising my daughters. I am not perfect and know that I could do more to follow the faith as at true catholic should but I am getting there. I love to read catholic books and listen to catholic radio. One of my favorite authors is Peter Kreeft. I love his take on the catholic faith.

Hey there, I'm Micki and I have a 6 year old daughter, Yuna-May. Myself and her father have been together for nearly 8 and a half years and we are currently trying for a second. I am a stay at home mum at the moment and my partner works as a venue supervisor. My daughter is a strong willed young lady and she knows what she likes and doesn't like. She can be stubborn but also knows the difference between right and wrong. She loves school and is currently in yr 1 and loving it completely.

As a new convert I'm figuring out new ways to bring my children up in the faith. Joining the Church was the best decision I've ever made and brings me so much peace.

Hello everyone! My name is Stasia, and we have 6 children. We both have been really fond of St. Francis (not NEAR as holy as) and all our children have Fransican middle names. Our oldest is 10 and our youngest is 10 months old. 2 girls and 4 boys (I almost made an accidental misnomer and said 4 noys ((noise)) lol!!!

I have 2 bachellors and am a SAHM homeschooler. Everyday has been a struggle lately, but everyday is full of blessings. Our little nursling and toddler keep us smiling and joyful. We love the Sacred Heart and try to avoid sin.

We have been married for 10 years, and my DH Jason is a machinist. We live in Texas but met and married in Arkansas.

One day we want to go on a pilgrimage. One day soon we want to move into a larger home and have for our transportation a larger van. We also want to go to the ocean. (Now that doesn't sound too far fetched!)

I am a happy mommy for the most part. I love love love raising my kids and watching them grow and discover new things. I love to sew, and do crafts. Love to take pictures and love to be outside.

I am happy to be a part of this community, and hope that I can benefit from you all wonderful ladies, and hopefully maybe benefit someone too!

Hi, I'm Nicole. My husband and I are both Catholic and we have 2 boys (5mos and 19mos). I was raised as a very strict Catholic but I'm not sure how to teach my kids about the faith or how to incorporate Catholic teachings with regular discipline. My husband and I both work outside of the home and my kids are babysat by my mother-in law who only speaks Vietnamese so it is hard to talk to her about the kids and what happened during the day. I hope one day that I will become a SAHM and have a few more kids.

Hi everyone! My name is Jamie and I'm a Stay at Home Mom in love with Catholicism. My DH who I call Hobbs is also a Catholic. I am in line with the Magisterium of the Church. ♥ We have a 1 year old (!!!) who I call Cupcakes on-line and a little baby in heaven (Chris) who died before he was born.

Hello, my name is Destiny. As a child i was never baptized so I am attending classed in September to become Catholic. I am very excited and just had my 5 year old daughter harmony baptized about a month ago at St.Marys Church in our hometown. I am expecting another baby girl in a month. I never attended church growing up because my mother is actually a non~believer. My step dad is a strong Catholic man and i recently started going with him. I feel so amazing since i have excepted the lord into my heart and i am also doing the read the bible in 80 days plan. I have learned so much about being Catholic ans i cant wait to attend classes so i can learn more. Hello all! My name is Sylvia:) I am a blessed stay at home mother of 3. I have 2 girls ages 8 and 7, and a little boy age 3. I have been married to my high school sweetheart ("cradle Catholic") for nearly 9 years now. I was baptized Catholic, but was not confirmed (through RCIA) until 9 years ago. My husband and I's faith in Catholism has been strengthend throughout this past year. Even though we have attended mass these past 10 years together, it took us a long while to finally be fully present at mass and in our faith. Hi, my name is Nicole. I converted to Catholicism when I was 22 just before I was married. My husband is a cradle Catholic but has fallen away from the Church which is very frustrating as I often feel alone in raising our 3 young kids (6, 4 and 2 in June) - as far as religious matters go. I've found some support through my local parish but I still feel like an outsider. It's nice to have support where you can!

Hi Sarah, A "cradle Catholic" is what we call someone who was baptized Catholic as a baby and has therefore been a Catholic his/her whole life. My husband is not a cradle Catholic because he converted to Catholicism about 4 years ago and was baptized at that time. Some "cradle Catholics" fall away from the Church for various reasons and become "inactive Catholics" That was never the case with me, but it is the case with my sister and father. I pray that they will return one day. Hope that helps. BTW, I, too, have a 2 1/2 year old. A girl.

Hi! On April 25th I'll be celebrating my second year of marriage. I have an almost one year old boy and am expecting my second son (due date July 4th). I'm also a SAHM and plan on homeschooling my children when the time comes. My husband and I would love to have a large family but want to live it in God's hands. I live in Chile (S. Hi! I'm Jessica, I am a 'cradle Catholic' but spent most of my life as a 'Catholic in name only'. Since my husband and I got married almost 5 years ago, I have become so in love with the Catholic Church. I have a 3 year old girl and a 1 year old boy. I am currently staying home due to being fired for teaching Catholicisim in a Catholic school this past fall, ironically enough. I would love to stay home permanently, but we'll see how things work out.
I am also wondering if there is anyone in the NJ/Philadelphia area, or if there is a way to search by location on this site? I would love to have other Catholic families in our lives, as we are the only family out of both of ours (cousins, aunts, and uncles included!) that are practicing Catholics.

Hi! My name is Jen and I have two children - Gabriela who is 5 years and Sophia who is 3 years this month. I, too, am a cradle Catholic, but it has been a different journey for me. I left the church for over 20 years and have recently returned. My husband is "Catholic" but not practicing so I often find it difficult that raising our children in the faith is solely my responsibility. We recently moved and it has been a bit of a challenge to get involved as it seems that all the churches in this area are extremely liberal and I am much more conservative and orthodox in my faith. It would be nice to connect with other Catholic moms for support - even if it is only via the web! I look forward to meeting you!

HI! I'm Jackie. I have 2 children, 9yr old Alexis and 8yr old Patrick. I am a convert but my hubby of 10 yrs (woohoo) is a cradle catholic! I absolutly love it. My parents went to church when I was little but when I was about 10 my dad retired from the Air Force and they stopped going, and of course I had to too. I feel that I missed out on a lot of good and faithful experiences since that. I was determined to have my children involved into church no matter what the religion....as long as is christian :) So my husband, Doug really wanted to stay Catholic, so I did my research and took all the required classes and now here we are....a happy Catholic family! :) I feel so much better now that we are all going to and involved in our parrish. I am a stay at home mom, and do Homestudy CCE. It gives us more chance to talk about our thoughts and opinons about our faith and it's one less after school activity the kids have to be rushed around too. I am very glad to find a community that I can belong to that I can share my thoughts, feelings and worries with that also come from the same religious background. I have thought about doing a blog but not sure where or how to start, so if anyone has input for me, that's be great! Thank you all for starting and supporting this group.

Hi, My name is Sarah and I have three girls age 3, 2, and 1, with another girl due in April. My husband and I were both born Catholic, but our families became Protestant when we were toddlers. He comes from a family of nine and is a chaplain. I am a SAHM. We were both homeschooled and raised Protestant. After we were married 5 years ago, my husband entered seminary with the intention of becoming a Pastor. We had a church for three years while completing seminary. During that time however we encountered several things in the Protestant church that made us very unhappy. We left pastoral ministry and my husband is now working as a chaplain at two nursing homes. While we are still attending our families church for the time being we are both beginning to try and learn more about the Catholic church. We have found that many of the things Protestants believe about Catholics is just not accurate. We are starting to feel that the Catholic church matches our theology much more closely than the training we have received from the Reformed church. Especially in the area of life, birth control, and family.

Hi I am Kelly and i have 7 children ages 20, 17, 11, 9, 3, & 2 yr old twins. I am not a 'typical' Catholic mom as I am divorced. I am a cradle catholic who lost my way for awhile. I had a few of my children out of wedlock, but at no time, did my parish, my priest, or deacon give up on me. (lol) I even taught CCD for a couple years before the twins came. I share my story because, you can repent, and come back into the church and be welcomed with open arms as you do so and hope that i encourage other gals like me to find your way home.

Hi I am Jackie. I have 2 daughters and 1 son. My oldest is 15 and going through a troublesome time with her faith. She has gone so far as to say she doesnt want to be Catholic. Which I think is a peer pressure issue, because she still participates in the youth choir receiving communion in church etc... it all depends who she is around i think. If she is dating a boy who is catholic then she is. That sort of thing. Anyway, My other 2 kids are 9 1/2 and 10mos. My name is Isabel and I am a stay at home mother of three beautiful children. I have a two year old daughter named Selena, a two year old stepson named Braxton and one baby on the way (Due May 2011). I am not baptized Catholic as of yet, but I have been working on my RCIA classes for over four years (I have moved around a lot and changed parishes a lot) and hope to finally become baptized. hello, I'm mary jane, mother to joshua (5) and jethro (1 1/2), wife to a navy officer, and also a navy officer working ashore. I'm a catholic, and my husband used to be a pentecostal. I didn't persuade him to be a catholic but he just willingly got back to the old religion (he's once a catholic). I just told him that I found God here (as catholic) so I'm not going anywhere else. I said to be born again meant "to renew in the spirit", "to profess your faith (again) and live according to it, and let your light so shine before men so they may see your good works and glorify God. I didn't hear anything, he just sort of return to catholicism again. Our sons were baptized catholics, and we are all devout catholics. We wanted to be part of the couples for Christ here in the Philippines, but we can't due to our schedule. I used to be a member of the El Shaddai Prayer Partners, but now I just brows their online site. So sad..Thank you for having me in this community. God bless always,

hi! my name is amanda, everyone just calls me manda :) my husband paul and i have only been catholic for 2 years now. i was raised as a protestant, and my husband was raised without religion. sometimes it makes me sad that i went so long without knowing and practicing the one true religion. but then i also am a bit happy knowing that everything i learn about the catholic church, it's so exciting to me still. i love knowing that i'm on the right path :) so we have 3 children, 2 boys and a girl. they are... perfect. Hi...I am Priscilla I am a wife to one wonderful man and we have 4 daughters together aging from 13 to 7. We want to have 2 more but we are still undecided...I get very sick. We were military for nearly 10 years weve been civilians for the past 5 yrs. I am a SAHM and business owner. I run my children around to their practices and games. I find myself geting more and more involved with the church, which my family can't seem to grasp. being a catholic in Africa is not easy as there seem to be a huge amount of "other christian beliefs" who think of you as not christians. Now I wonder if you critise anothe christian belief system does that make you better than another. I have often said The jews gave us Christ, The catholics gave us Christianity as we know it today.
