This is something that bothered me during my last pregnacy as well. I get severe morning sickness, so should I not take communion in the chance that I get sick afterwards and throw up?

I can relate to this right now but last Sunday I was getting sick through Mass that I needed communion! I did find this link which has a nice explanation and says to refrain if there's fear of vomiting within 15 minutes of taking communion:
