Anyone seen the Spongebob Squarepants Burger King commercial?? I saw it for the first time the other day, and I do not like it.. It is not right for them to do anything like that with kids meal and Spongebob Squarepants. My 2 1/2 year old loves watching that show, and I think it is stupid and not right!!! What do you all think about the commercial for those who have seen it??

In my opinon, its just kind of stupid. I wouldn't go as far as to say inappropriate, just ridiculus. I know it doesn't make me want to go to BK any time soon.

My husband and I thought the commercial was hilarious. SpongeBob dances like that on his show himself. Has anyone written Nickelodeon about that?? It's just goofy humor. If people want to make it seem inappropriate they will. Come on, the dancer weren't half naked and they had phone books over there butt. How is it disturbing singing about right angles??

It depends on what state you live in with the booster seat rules. Check with your local police department. I live in VA and the child has to be 56" tall to not be in a booster seat anymore. My daughter is 9 and weighs 60 lbs, so that 80 lb rule would not work for me!

My husband thought it was hilarious and harmless because it was shown mostly late at night when most kids should be in bed anyway. In his opinion it was marketed for adults. I thought he was full of crap and it was terrible exploitation of a kids show. We agree alot, can't you tell?

I think it's a goofy commercial . But, I wouldn't go to extremes to writing them about it. I think that's what they are looking for. I've just changed the channel. Just like the silly Jack in the box commercial with there mini hamburgers ..

I agree with Meghan. While I dont find it vulgar. I think its wildly inappropriate for a commercial geared towards children to feature women dancing around with the focus on their rears. While my son thinks its a silly commercial, I cant help but wonder about the message it sends about how women should be viewed/respected.

My grandson loves Spongebob and I definitley don't think this is the type of commercial that a 6 year old needs to see. Heck I didn't need to see it!!

OH wow, I agree with you. My husband and I saw that commercial on tv the other night and were horrified. It is awful for them to portray a children's show and meal so inappropriately.

Yes, I have to agree. Not suitable at all.
