SO the skinny little broad actually has a bit of meat on her now, and she's making lots of covers and headlines for it. I have to say, those "mom jeans" she wore with the two belts didn't exactly help the situation!

Quoting Griselle:

Nope its all a scam. Jessica is not that big. The angle the shots were taken were to give the impression of her being overweight. Lets admit it. Whenever people stop talking about her she comes out with these high-waisted jeans and looks bigger than she really is. Magazines start talking about her and then two weeks later she's lost all that weight that takes an average woman probably months to lose. How else can she lose the weight in such short time. Its all hype to get the gossip going. Then she's praised two weeks later because she's lost so much weight.

LOL!  well put!  honestly, she's a bit bigger than when she played daisy duke, but she isn't fat at all and the new pics of her in short shorts claiming she lost weight?!  come on, same ize different outfit!

Jessica Simpson is in no way "fat", good grief.  I think her outfit choice was bad, the high-wasted jeans with the 2 belts, it made her look choppy, and her sports bra gave her no support~but she is gorgeous with or without a few extra pounds.

Jessica finally looks like an average woman. Good for her. I agree that some of her wardrobe choices aren't that flattering, but I'm glad she likes the way she looks now. If only more of today's celebrity "role models" would learn from Jessica. Way to go girl!

I think the new and improved Jessica looks great, but high-waisted pants?  Really?  I don't think ANYONE looks good in those.

i totally agree...it's one thing to put on a couple pounds...it's a totally different thing when you flaunt it with horrible wardrobe. lol

Big deal, she gained some weight... Not like any of us haven't.... She just made the wrong choice in pants for her body type...

Poor Jessica, now that she is happy she has put weight on and people criticise her for it. I say "good on your girl" you are happy and we can see it. She is always smiling in her pics and i think that is the main thing x

I agree, she looks good. Obviously the pants and double belt did nothing for her, but that's not her fault. She doesn't pick out her own clothes.

how are we supposed to raise happy healthy children when celebs that look amazing to us and anyone of us would kill to look like are labled as fat by the media. as soon as a celeb puts on a few extra kilos it is all over the magazines. the goverments have stopped super skinny models, maybe now the need to do something about the media attacking celebs that are of a healthy weight.

i think jessica look amazing (apart from those jeans). but maybe if weight wasn't such a hot topic with the media then there wouldn't be so much yo-yo diets.

yeah i think she looks great also, i do beleive that the last time she wore a pair of those highwaisted jeans like a year or 2 ago (when she was dating jon mayer) she was attacked for getting fat also and then 2 weeks later when she wore a different outfit she was praised for her "weight loss".... is she as tiny as she was when she played daisy duke, no, but she is far from fat. honestly what are we teaching our young girls these days with this type of media?!?!?! its horrible

I think she looks great, too.  It makes me so mad to see all those celeb mags and shows picking at the celebs for gaining a few pounds.  Back to Jessica's jeans.....they were kinda funny looking.

Oh please don't get me wrong, I didn't mean it as a bad thing, and I too think it's kinda good to see celebs look like real people actually do. It doesn't mean she looks bad...I just can't defend the outfit as much...it was horrible!

I think she looks great! What's wrong with her having a little meat on her? You make it sound like it's a bad thing... isn't it good that the "celebrities" are making women look better?? C'mon I've got a nine year old niece who thinks she's fat because the girls on magazines are skinny... I really think it's a step in the right direction ;)
