yes I think like you i think it was better than twilight but how old do you have to read the twilight books cause I have a child that is 9 years old and she is moaning to read them should I let her or no

I think the new moon movie was better than twillight as they must have had more $ to add to this one! Although the books are always 10x better the movie wasn't too bad just missing a few details from the book!



I don't know if anyone knows about this but Stephanie Mayer has a 5th book to add to the twillight saga. This one is called Midnight Sun and it is in Edwards point of view, you can go to this website and download a partial draft of her newest book...

Hey all with everyone on here about the books read them all within days of eachother. I just had a baby over the summer and read them while breastfeeding..lol. But, I just saw the New Moon movie for the first time downloaded it from torrentz for FREE! It's got great visual quality but the sound is horrible...I'd have waited to see it in theatre but everyone I knew saw it already.lol. Anyhoo, what are the thoughts out there on New Moon? I didn't think that it did the book justice..and I didn't like the last part either for those who haven't seen it wont spoil your fun! So, thoughts for those that have?

I thought that both the movies and the books were amazing yeah they left a lot out but in a way thought it was a good thing id rather read about something and let my mind wonder than watch like a three hour movie that would be to much for me in a book I can always go back and reread it and picture things differently. I think with the movie they picked out the most of what they thought was important and I liked them. But everytime I see the movies it makes me want to read the books over and over and everytime I read the books it makes me want to see the movies over and over ita a never ending cycle lol.

I've seen the movie an hundred times and read each and every book!! We even have a group of friends getting together to go see New Moon when it hits theaters Nov 21 .,...I love the story......and so does my daughter!! lol She's in love with Edward!!!

I didn't know there were books until after i had seen the movie. I loved to the movie, but after reading the books, I was a little disapointed. Bella's character was too cold and withdrawn in the movie. I'm hoping inthe other movies Kristen Stewart with be able to bring out some of the subtle humor that Bella shows in the books

I am such a Twilight junkie!!! My eleven year old sister was reading them and couldn't stop talking about them... Finally I picked them up and now I own all four books(sooo much better than the movie...can't wait for New Moon though) and I've read them three times!!! It's addictive! Also thanks for the fanfiction tip!!!

Oh I am too so happy for this new show and following series to come... Love the books also, I got interested because it was something I could share with my grandchildren and ended up loving it myself. I just started the first book and almost done with it can't wait till the next movie. and to start the second book.

I absolutely LOVE the twilight saga! I've finished each book with 2 days. For New Moon & Ecslipse, I stayed up until 4-5am just to finish the books. Yikes! Luckily, my husband was there to fill in for me in the AM to help with the kids, so I was able to sleep in a bit. I am seriously obsessed. I saw Twilight before I read the series. I think I was more into it because I fell in love with the characters. I love Robert Pattinson, BUT i love him more as Edward & how well he plays the character. I love them all! haha.

I have seen it many times. My 16 year-old and I were so addicted to the books that we dragged my parents to the movie theater to see it. Then when it came out on DVD that morning at 7:30 am I went and bought the DVD. A few weeks later we bought a blu-ray DVD player and I bought the blu-ray version also. It is an awesome movie, my daughter and I had specific vision of all of the cast and didn't agree with all of their choices but that's the problem with reading the books before watching the movie. So you just have to keep an open mind when watching it.

Before I got so into Twilight, I read the Harry Potter books... those are good and addicting too..

 

HI Cissy, Since reading and loving the Twilight series, a friend of mine introduced me to Twilight Fan Fiction. There are literally hundreds of stories written using the characters from Twilight by fans - and some are way better than the originals!!

I have found that it is a great way to keep Bella and Edward alive... lol

If you are interested, go to fanfiction (dot) net and search for Twilight

or twilighted (dot) net

There are some that are continuations after Breaking Dawn or prequels to Twilight, some that are in other character's point of view (a la Midnight Sun) and a lot more that are using the same characters but in All Human form (no vampires.)

I love the books much better than the movie. I am reading Eclipse now. The Twilight movie was ok, but the book was better. I would like to see Bella hook up with Jacob. I will have to keep reading to find out! Enjoy!

Yes.. you will changed your mind. Once you see how Edward deals with Bella and Jacobs friendship, you'll soon see that Edward is in no one way controlling her.

I first didn't see the big woop about Twilight, and then my boyfriend and I decided to go see it and I fell in love. Went and bought Twilight-the book- a few days later. Finished that within a day and then bought New Moon, and so on. I'm still currently on Breaking Dawn. I think by far my favorite is Eclipse.. or Breaking Dawn.. its a toss up. I just wish that this kind of life was real, and if so... I'd wanna be living it!

Saw the movie...LOVED IT, now own the 2-disc dvd, Decided to buy the Book's, Just finished reading the entire series about 3 weeks ago! Totally loved them all, but I think my favorite of all was Breaking Dawn. I cannot wait until New Moon hits in November! I am so excited.



**A little info if no one knew, the MTV Movie award's, which will air May 31, will have a 1 minute Clip of New Moon (Rob, Kristen & Tyler will be introducing it)! :)
