I always see posts on here asking for recommendations on babysitters, or playgroups, and especially doctors! Alikelist.com is a great resource for finding local businesses, restaurants, and service-providers that are recommended by others. It's designed for those that need something, but have no idea where to being finding it! Newly pregnant and want to find a great OB? Check Alikelist.com and see what others have to say about physicians in your area. Traveling out of town and want to find a trusted referral on a local restaurant? It's easy to search and find places of business in cities across the country that people like you, well, like!
The recommendations aren't always from strangers. By connecting to Facebook, you'll be able to access what places people you know like, as well as places around town that they'd like to try - and they'll be able to see what and who you recommend. It's word-of-mouth referral for the digital age!
