I am new to this site. My daughter turned 2 years old and says very very little. My 5 year old has autism and they at first thought my daughter did too but she is developing very well but still not talking. She says mama, da well and can say dog, mine with difficulty to understand. she is a picky eater. Therefore diagnosed with apraxia of speech. I do not know much about it. Any tips or suggestions.

My 4 yr old daughter has been in speech therapy for over a yr. now & just recently diagnosed with apraxia. All my girls went through a picky stage, so I'm not sure if it has anything to do w/ apraxia. However, my daughter is ALWAYS chewing, sucking or licking something. Here's a site that might help you...
