I don't want to sound like I am just venting, but I guess in a way I am. I hope that no one minds. I left my ex four years ago (after numerous previous attempts) and we divorced in July of 06. He was mean and abusive when we were married, but since we split, he has been a NIGHTMARE. I have done everything I know how to get along with him, but he continues to call me names and fight and argue with me whether the kids are around or not!! I am trying to keep my children from seeing this negative behavior, but it ALWAYS happens. I have tried giving him his way, fighting back, ignoring him, EVERYTHING. I have even gone so far as to try and befriend his new wife, send his new stepdaughters gifts, send Christmas cards, make copies of pictures for them, but nothing works. What do I do?
