My exhusband wife hates my daughter !!!!!!

My daughter has step mom who has been nothing but mean to my daughter . The step mom has been in her life sence she was 6 my daughter is 14 ... it been nothing but hate for my daughter , name calling , yelling at her , locking her in her room with no way of calling me , The last case was that she waited till my ex was gone to fight with her and told her how she hated her and wanted her gone ... So now my daughter lives with me at all time and is not allowed to be around her father because the his wife has treaded our daughter like this for so long that my daughter is suffering from post dramtic drepression from all the verbal and mental abuse ...If anyone had gone threw this or at this moment is having the same issue just would like to get and input in how to cope with all the pain and the stress ..Thank you

When she was young she did not tell me much and when i brought it up to dad he would tell me she made things up .As she got older then is when i started to see the truth and I would speak to dad and he would take care of the issues but after awhile thing would go back to normal . To answer your question about the wife yes she is still with him ... He does not do much with my daughter I guess when he remember that she is not around then he call.. My daughter is doing much better and is opening up to me she has started counseling as well thanks you for your respond :)

if this had gone on since she was 6 why has it not been stopped before now. did no-one belevie your daughter. i know kids can exaggerate or lie about things but surely somewhere along the way someone must hae known something wasnt right. anyway as they say whats done is done and you must now look to the future and help your daughter regain the confidence nocked out of her. she needs to keep some kind of contact with her father does he take her out now and again (obviously not to his house) is he still with this woman by the way. all you can do for your daughter is to treat each day the same but let her know you are there when she wants to talk and you will listen and that you love her.
