I have a seven year old daughter that is acting out because she does not like the fact that her father and I are not living together. Her father and I have been divorced since 2002. I have had a boyfriend living with me for the past two years. Any suggestions or thoughts on how to help her cope with the fact that her father and I are not going to be together??

Counseling. My parents divorced when I was 5. I didn't finally accept that they would never get back together until I was 14. If you can't afford to take her to a pediatric counselor, maybe try talking to the school counselor and see if he or she would be willing to work with your daughter a bit.
