I noticed my 5 year old had molars coming in. Has anyone else have a 5 year old with new molars?

Yep, my dd will be 6 the end of May and her's are popping through. I must have early teeth growers because my 9 year old already has 2 of her 12 year molars.

Thank you. She cant wait to start losing her baby teeth. Her bottom 6 year mollars are both fully in now i haven't seen the top ones yet. I was ready for all her other teeth but these molars really messed me up. I know have a list of all the teeth she will get and a time line of when she will lose her baby teeth.

Usually 6yr molars does = 6, Girls tend to be on the early side but for the most part it's just before they turn 6 or right after. The two front teeth on the bottom are the next to go, just fyi. Usually when the molars start coming in the lower front baby teeth start getting loose too. :) My little guy just got his upper right molar and two front teeth started wiggling. I work in the dental field so it's fun for me!

You are not alone ...my daughter is 5 yrs and 7 months and she has her molars coming in too ...infact she started getting a pair of permanent teeth(shark teeth) coming in behind her milk teeth. We took her to our dentist and he advised us that her milk teeth will fall off in due course of time and during that visit he told us that she was getting her molars too. But that is nothing to worry about he said.If she complains of any pain , he asked us to bring her in.

ah yes! my little girl's molars started poking through around her 5th birthday. i couldn't believe it cuz i figured, 6 yr molars=6 yrs! she's now 5 yrs 2 months and they are just about completely in (just a little gum covering a small part in the back). it hurt her like crazy before they actually poked through. we used lots of ambesol (sp?).
