My daughter was born Feb 11 at 7 lbs 9 oz and 18 and 1/2 in. long. She is now 49.5 inches and 74 pounds. She is plenty thick, but she is not really flabby.

my son was born 12/05/06 weighed 9lbs 4 and was 59cm (23in) long, last time i measured him was end of jan this year (2012) and he was 4st 8 (64lbs) 4ft 4 (52in) and takes a adult size 2 shoe lol

My daughter was born on the 27 september, was 8lb. She is now 56lb. She is prob the tallest in her class, but she is still on the chubby side. Constant battle for her wanting to eat too much. x

May daughter was born on May 3 (1 day before she was due to arrive). She weighed in at 7lbs and 13 oz...today she's 61 lbs and 3 feet and 11 inches tall. Not the tallest or the biggest girl in her class, plus she's extremely active..karate, swimming etc.

We have to pull the adj waist band or put a belt on her and we still have to make our own holes in it

My son was born August 27th. He was 6lbs 15oz and 20 in long. His last check up in November, he was 42lbs and 42 inches tall. With his "late" birthday, he almost couldn't start Kindergarten this yr. Cut off date is 5 by August 31st!!

My daughter McKenzie was born June 8, 2007 and weighed 6'8 and was 21 inches tall. Now she is almost 4 1/2 years old and weighs 39 lbs and is 41 inches tall. :)

I have a 22 month old and she weighed 7'2 and was 19 inches born December 2, 2009 and she only weighs 22lbs

Its really not good to compare them to other children the same age or other siblings. Aslong as they grow consistently there isn't no worry. My oldest has always been above the percentitle and my youngest has always been below. So they are both happy healthy girls even if they don't match up to the exact as other kids their age.

It seems like everyone elses kids are heavier than my daughter. She was right at 8 lbs when she was born in Nov. 2006 and she is only 38 lbs now. And Last time she was measured in height she was 42 in.

My daughter was born four weeks early on October 26th weighing 7lbs 11oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. My husband is 6'4 so she gets the height from his side of the family. I am only 5'3, so she will out grow me by fourth grade. She is now 59lbs and 3'11. The doctor said she is the height of a 6 1/2 year old, but weighs the same as an 8 1/2 year. We are reducing her sugar and juice intake. She doesn't look that heavy, but she bugger then most of the kids in her pre-school class for sure!
