I am just about to start potty training madison and was wondering if its going to be easier with her than it was cody. all in all it took 6 months for cody to be potty trained, pant trained and toilet trained... that seems like forever, as maddy due to start nursery in January...

I think definatley YES! I have four girls and they all potty trained really easy. Each of them were trained in a week or so. On the other hand i have girlfriends that have boys and it was much more of a challenge for them.

I think it is way easier with girls. I have three girls and all it took me with them was at the most two weeks if that. My son on the other hand took forever. I don't know way but the girls were so much easier.

Both my boys were potty trained before age 2. It was so easy.lol They are 22 and 19 years of age. There were on pull-ups like today, I used potty pants. Also every time I need to go I took them with me. I also used toilet targets...TP works too.

My Daughter took a year to train (2-3 years old)
But my son was easy. In 3 months he was fully trained before he was 2!
I think it depends on the personallity of your child weather they are hard or not, not weather they are are boy or girl.

My boys were lazy. They didn't want to stop playing long enough to go potty. My daughter was easy. The first time she pottied in her Cinderella big girl panties she got upset and didn't like being wet so she never did it again. I think it will be easier with Madison!

I don't have a daughter but people I know that have boys and girls say their daughters were easier to potty train than their boys were. I'm struggling to get my 3 year old son potty trained. He will only go when he wants to go

Ok. I think my girl was easier... I know she was earlier training at 2 1/2 as opposed to big brother who was nearly 4.

All in all, I just hate potty training. Its dirty messy frustrating buisness and I hope # 3 just wakes up one day and decides to use the potty. I've heard of the rare child who does this... so I'll dream a little. for now, she's only 3 months and my onely one in diapers so I've got about 2 years before we start over again with the toilet training.

Girls are easier to potty train than boys in my opinion. My daughters took a few months and my son took almost a year.

In my honest opinion it was easier for my husband and I to potty train our daugther. She i s 4 years now...we potty trained her at two. Now my son the three year old has been the hardest to potty trained. He feels like the toilet is his personal water pool, he sits up there and makes music and sing about everything that the bathroom provides. So girls are easier than boys
