Oct 2006 Identical Twin Boys, anyone else out there with twins in this year?

Hello Alison, I am the mother of identical twin boys that were born March 24, 2006.  They were my first and could not be happier.  It took my husband and I almost two years to get pregnant so as you can imagine this was a suprise!  I love them dearly..

Well Alison, when I found out the father and I were not together. So it was a very scary thing for me. I was very lucky and had a great prenancy and the father and I figured out what we wanted..We also had ours naturally and unexpectedly!! But all in all everything worked out for the best! The father and I just got married this past October and couldn't be happier! The girls are doing great, besides the tantrums, fighting, biting, and getting into everything they are not suppose too!! Potty training doesn't seem to even be a subject in our house yet. They pretend that they want to go, but really they just want to play in the bathroom, since they aren't allowed in there otherwise! I am actually very lucky to be able to stay at home with the girls and do a bit of daycare myself. We have toys everywhere and I'm tired of cleaning up after them. If we catch them on a good day then they may help. Otherwise I just don't even bother to try and get them too, otherwise it is more work, rather than picking them up on my own! I couldn't imagine having 5 children. Your life must be crazy!! How do your twins eat?? Do they have pacifers?? Are they potty trained?? Can't wait to here from you!!

Hiya Rachel, thanks for the reply.  Twin girls so close to christmas definitely sounds like fun.  How are you finding the tantrums????  I can't imagine having twins first, probably would of put me off any more especially as i had them naturally so have a three times higher chance of having twins or more in the next pregnancy!   That news put us off, we already have five kids and i don't think i could cope carrying two or more through a pregnancy again.  Husbands had the snip now.  It is a truely amazing experience carrying and raising twins, one that mums of one child don't understand.  How are you finding it?
