Speech delay

My 31 months old boy has a vocabulary of about 20 words and is in speech therapy, Is there someone out there who had the same problem with a child and the child is now doing alright in that the child's speech has improved to that of kids his/her age? I need encouragement.

My son will be 3 in few weeks,still no words so of courseeeeee I know how you feel. As long as we continue to give them all the help they can get. I am still not giving up. Has he been diagnosed with anything? Keep Fighting for your boy

Hi, My oldest son is 9 yrs old and has autism .He didn't start babbling words until he was 5 yr old and he started speech therapy . Now he talks great now and with all the speech that helped. Darling just give him time and practice as much as possible and keep him in speech and when you little son the age of 9 I bet he wont stop talking like my little james. take care xxx
