Hi,

I am a student researcher from Melbourne. I am researching the impacts genetic testing has on parents of children who are being investigated for developmental delay.

I think it's really important that the issues surrounding genetic testing are discussed with the public. I am working on a news article talking about new genetic tests being used in developmental delay and I would love to include someone's story! Please let me know if you have a story I can include in my article, either by discussing it below or sending me a message. If you know what sort of genetic test was used please let me know (e.g. a microarray).

Thank you so much in advance.

I believe there sould be nmore studies with genetics, Course there are a hole lot of different delays and health issues , are coming more more of a everyday thing.I have 9yr old that has autism then a 2yr old with global deveolpment delay showing 3 different delays , and with Hydrocephalus since birth and going to being tube fed.then my 1yr old has Haempilla B which is genetic from mother but I dont have it Im only a carrier and his the first to have it . So more research about genetic would be great for parents to get more knowledgement . I hope you do well ,good luck
