My son and I got into an argument over him taking things of mine into his room to use when he was already grounded (ie TV, DVD player and MP3 player). It got heated enough that he told me he would never forgive me for his father being his father( his father is bipolar and an alcoholic). I told him we needed to separate because I was too angry. He went to his room and I went to mine. I got distracted with my other two children, which was the point of the separation, playing a game. After a half an hour I went to speak with my son and he was gone! I did not know where my child was for an hour and a half. The police took four hours to show up. I called all of his friends and called and text my sons phone repeatedly. I finally broke down and called my ex and he was there. My ex didn't call me when he got there and we live ten minutes apart (walking). My son got on the phone with me that day and said he wants to live with his father and does not want to speak to me. He has not spoken to me since and it has been almost a month. His father is taking me to court for custody stating I am physically and mentally abusive and for child support. He also states that I have made our children lie to him over the phone stating that they don't want to see him. They don't want to see him because he is abusive to his girlfriend when he is drunk, and drives them around while drinking!! He has barely sent my son to school since he has been living there,and my ADHD/ODD child is now not taking his meds (as per his teachers). Court I can focus on and try to win my boy back, but what do I do with a teen who doesn't want to speak to me? He is my baby! I don't know what to do.
