My son has a bottle around 8pm and will not wake up until maybe 1-2am. Last night he woke briefly at 11pm but he will only drink 1-2oz then fall asleep. He then wakes again at 3am. Any tips???

My daughter did too from the night she was born the nurse kept trying to get me to feed her and she did not want to at all, plus new borns are not huingry till like 2 days old, she has always slept through the night, my doctor said that is great and i was lucky. she will tell me when she is hungry no need to wake her

As long as your baby is doing well and eating and gaining weight I wouldn't worry he will let you know when he needs to eat and when he wants to sleep

I have a almost 3 month old baby boy and he sleep's just the same has a feed around 7-8pm and sleeps until 2-3am i finding that he feeds alot more during the day so i am not worried if he's not feed much during the day and not putting on the weight i would say take me to see a doctor.

what would you like tips on? a 2 month old that will sleep for several hours between feeds is great!! until they start taking solids, they will get hungry and will probably not sleep the entire night. do you think he is sleeping too long? he is learning night and day schedules, that's awesome! he is on the right track!

yeah i was wondering what the problem was too i wish my kids slept i actually thought only girls sleep thru the nite i have 3 boys...enjoy sleeping

try keep him awake until he drinks a little bit more. tickle under his chin when you are feeding him

Actually, that is pretty good for a two month old. It just takes time. I know they say to keep a baby on their back to sleep now a days, but I put my son on his tummy. That's the only way he would sleep for lengthy periods. It made him feel more secrue I think. He was right by my bed in a bassinet. I think he was sleep all night by at least 3 months old. My daughter, on the other hand, was sleeping all night long by 2 weeks. I started putting her in her crib right away though. She was such a good baby! Well, good luck and enjoy! :)

Is he on formula? If he is, the timing is right on. Even breastfed babies sometimes go 3 to 4 hours. As long as your baby is doing well and eating, your only concern with sleeping through the night would be if you were breastfeeding him because you would be working on establishing your milk supply. If he is on the bottle you have nothing to worry about. It sounds like he is adjusting wonderfully!

thats great....tips on what?....your baby is beginning to sleep thru the night...enjoy it...if he is hungry he will wake and eat...dont worry mine slept thru the night 6 weeks on
