Childrens safety education must begin at birth. There are "teachable moments" everyday. Starting at no, to do not touch, why's and how to be safe when that new kindergarten teacher is a 'stranger' so do I speak to her? Because it is the basics because we all can be touch by the gang member who shots someone to the child who brings a gun to school. No community is safe!
