I have 3 kids and have learned how important it is to have a basic schedule but how do you explan this to a new mom who is asking why your baby does not act like her baby?

thank you both I think I made my point in a gentle way and I did use God's design for a mother so I pray that it helped her!

If they are Christians, I would explain that our God is not a God of disorder, but a God of peace. I never thought about that before looking into homeschooling, but once someone said it to me, it hasn't left me! 1 Cor. 14:33

I might recommend a book like: Secrets of the Baby Whisperer: How to Calm, Connect, and Communicate with Your Baby by Tracy Hogg and Melinda Blau. It was one book I read that really enlightened me on the WHYS behind scheduling, and how it really does calm the baby to have an environment they can trust & anticipate.
