Looking for Curriculum

This is our first year to homeschool and it has proven to be challenging to juggle everything. I have been through some curriculum that is just not working for us and am interested in trying something else. I am looking for the Switched on Schoolhouse for 4th and/or 6th grade. I have done some looking on ebay and craigslist but we are not in a great place financially and because we have already bought other curriculum that isn't working, I need it to be pretty affordable. Any ideas of where to look?

Check Timberdoodles website; they are a homeschool supply in my community and they often times are more affordable then others suppliers

A good book to read is A Thomas Jefferson Education. It is how our forefathers were taught, its all about leadership...amazing...I am still searching as well, finances are tight and the ones we are considering are a little expensive. However, we used a free public school virtual home school program and the costs were higher than ever, not monetary either...My childeren were ripped off basically. Check out TJed 1st before you move on further. Good Luck!

www.homeschoolclassifieds.com has a ton of choices in all price ranges! This is my first year as well and my kids are in 2nd and 4th grades. We've settled on a mixed variety and I will be looking to tweak again next year.
