Hello My sisters in Christ, I will be celebrating my 10th anniversary this year and I wanted to get some ideas, we don't a lot of money (having a mortgage and 3 hungry boys do that to you :) but what are some thoughts as to how I can bless my husband, I thought of spring cleaning the house haha but I'm sure that's not my calling :) anyway any ideas would be fab!

Hey Tammy that sounds like a fab idea, we will be married 10 years in May too May 29th to be exact, I'll try and souce that movie here in NZ and see if it will be avaliable by then.

Congrats on 10 years! Our 10 year is coming up in May. I've already been trying to plan something. My mom is going to keep our boys while we go do something. We will either go to a close bed and breakfast or to a nice resort town that isn't far from us and stay in a nice hotel. We haven't seen Fireproof yet and by then it will be on video. I'm going to buy it so we can watch it together on our anniversary.

My husbands Sister-in-Law just celebrated her 40th B-day and her husband made her a memory book for her he contacted her friends and had them send him quotes and memories of his wife I'm thinking about stealing the idea for our 20th wedding Anniversary. Feel free to steal the idea...

Thanks for the responses, they have been fantastic, I've got a lit time to plan so I might use some of your ideas, I love the thought of viewing our wedding video and looking through our album I must admit I haven't looked at either for quite awhile, I thought of maybe going back to the place we went on for our honeymoon and having a candle light dinner, I realy like the coupon idea and renewing our vows is fab! I knew I could count on you guys to come up with things :) You all rock!

My husband surprised me with renewing our wedding committment at our bible study ( Adult group) Simple and sweet..This was completely out of character for him and it made my year!!!

Congrats! I used to work in a hotel so I know that if you go away for one night with your hubby, and you mention it to the staff, you might get an upgrade to a nicer room or other treats. Sometimes bed and breakfast places are much cheaper than hotels so you could stay at one and enjoy the breakfast made by someone else other than u or your hubby. You could take your photos and take time to view them again!

Congrats!!! How awesome! How about a sitter and watching your wedding video. Look back on falling in love and how God has blessed you in the last 10 years!!! Just have some down time by yourselves and enjoy being a slow-paced married couple for one night!!!

we just celebrated our 10th anniversary too so congrats! we managed to load off the wee one to nana and we had a lovely night to ourselves (ahem) with a movie and candles and a lovely dinner..... we didn't spend any more money other the dvd hire which is also good for us!

My husband likes a foot or back/neck massage. Make him a coupon book for free hugs, kisses, stuff like that. Cook his favorite meal that night. Give him an night off and let him go do something he likes to do especially if he works all the time like my hubby. My hubby shoots pool every tuesday night. That is his Down time...........
