I would qualify that by saying a perfect CHRISTIAN marriage has Christ at its heart.

What about people who are happily married and share a joyful life together but aren't Christians? Maybe they belong to some other religion, maybe they have NO religion but it's still entirely possible that they have a wonderful marriage.

The statement carries some arrogance, I think.

Would you say to neighbours that your marriage was better than theirs, your children were better than theirs, your home & garden were better than theirs because you're Christians? Probably not.

And remember, some Christians don't have happy marriages at all.

I think you are saying that a Perfect Marriage Has Christ In Their Hearts, as in the Husband and Wife have Christ in their heart.

When my husband and I got married 32 years ago last Dec. WE both loved God more that we loved each other. I know that sounds VERY UNROMANTIC. I would disagree! To my husband and I this means that because we Love God First and For most then we love each other we will never
do any thing to hurt the other on purpose. However we are moth human and we have hurt each other either with actions or works. Because we Love God First we can ask for forgiveness and although it may take some time to get things back on the right track it will happen. In my Opinion for what it is worth, Because we are human our Marriage will never be Perfect----but with God we can have the best marriage possible.
