Hi! I'm an Army Reservist's wife. We have 4 kids and hubby's been a reservist for about 15 years and was active duty for about 6 years before that. He's off at AT right now! I too didn't connect in the Army Wives community because I prefer a more Christian-oriented group. Nice to meet you!

To all of us Army Wifes past a present thank you for standing by your men it is not always easy but so worth it, my husband has been in for over 27 years and we have 6 kids so i understand and send you my support as much as i can.. And always turn to your Hevenly Father for help. and i second the things Nancy said about a good church they can help so much i could not have made it through the last few years if not for my church... Catrina, I am not an Army wife anymore, Mike was in the Army for 20 years. So I know what you are going threw. I s there a reason that you are not with him. I s he in training there. I always went with him when I could. The first thing that we did was find a church. That always became part of the family. The church by the post always had other Army wifes in them. They always new just what I was going threw. We did babysitting for each other, we to the fun things, even if it was the park so the kids could play. Find you a church, if you dont have one. God will always be with you. We don't live to far away from you. 30 min from Branson. I truly miss the Army life, But we have friends all over the world. Well, that is understanable. Maybe I should have created a community that's called, "Christian Army Spouses With Children". LOL. I'm a Christian but didn't think to do that!! Maybe I can change the name of my community. I'll see what I can do because I wanted it to be something kinda like that anyway.

Thank you all so much!! I can't stress enough how much it means to me to get responses. I have felt so alone in this. I have very few friends, close to none. I feel like an outcast. My husband is stationed in Fort Irwin, California, which is far from my home. My home is Kansas City, Missouri. It's just really hard with my husband gone all the time and I just really need some friends. Even if they are online, it's a lot of help knowing I'm not alone in this!! He, I am also an army mom with three kids. ! My husband is about to be on his third deployment, Besides the deployments the army life has been good to us.
