Our son who will be 6 months old has ASD-he will be having surgery within the next few months. We're getting very anxious but wanted to know if there were any parents out there that can give us any tips about what to expect after the surgery and recovery time and how their child is doing now?

I do not have experience with this heart defect, but I was born with a CTOF in 1955 and had corrective surgery in 1963. I will keep you in my Prayers. I am adding a link for a group you may want to check out. Please keep us posted on your sons surgery and any other time you want to share.
