I thought you were all talking about Holland in Europe when you mentioned tulips! Been there twice (I live in England) but never been to the one in Michigan! LOL!!

MOPS!!! That stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and it's open to all moms of children ages birth-Kindergarten. If you go to www.MOPS.org, you should be able to locate groups in your area. Hopefully one is nearby. Through this group I've made great connections both with other moms in the same stage of mothering as I and those who are tad older, more seasoned moms. I've also been able to be an encouragement to some of the new moms in the group. Whatever happens to be going on in your life, you'll find friendship and encouragement within this group! It's also based on Christian principals, so you will be given little spiritual nuggets, too, that will encourage you along your Christian walk as a wife, mom, and friend. I hope you find the connection you need! We all need those mom friends who "get" us and can come along side us in this difficult but rewarding journey!

Tulip Time is in full swing here in Holland. The last parade is tomorrow. My oldest son was in the marching band for a few years so Tulip Time was an anual event at our house. I think Tulip Time is awesome, I love to watch all of the bands. We will be going again next year when our youngest is a little older. It is definitely something to bring the kids to. We are actually new to Michigan so is Flint pretty far away from Holland?

I live in Flint, MI. Is the tulip festival over yet? I hear that is beautiful, I haven't gone yet, but one year I will make it there! :)
