Anyone have any verses they would like to share for a Father's Day Message?

I will be preaching on Father's Day to the adults, not the kids. I thought about "Leaving a Legacy" or "Planting Seeds of the Heavenly Father". Even thought about coming out of my own life with a father that was quick with the tongue and using the verse from Ephesians 6, about fathers don't make your children angry.

Any other suggestions??? I'm just looking for something to jump out at me...

Heather beat me to it, I was going to say you could talk about Fatherly Wisdom (A Father Knows Best kind of thing like in Proverbs).

That verse in Ephesians is also mentioned in Colossians 3:21. Other then that there is the Proverbs that say that Children need to listen to their fathers:Proverbs 4:1, Proverbs 1:8, Proverbs 6:20, Proverbs 13:1, and Proverbs 15:5. There are also the verses that tell fathers to teach their children about the Lord, which go along with Ephesians 6: Isaiah 38:19, Deuteronomy 4:9, Deuteronomy 11:19, Psalm 34:11, and Psalm 78:5. I hope that helps. Let us know what you come up with.
