Just a frustrating day, just need prayer.
My husband and I had plans to go to dinner tonight,
it was free, and had a place for the kids to go.... well
it didn't work out, and I was sorely disapointed.
And, work slowed way down for me since I got out of
the hospital 7 weeks ago. I do cleaning for a living, and
had plenty of clientele going, but had hired someone in
early May, here when I went to the hospital for a week,
she was busy- stealing my customers. I have chose to
forgive, but finances took a huge hit.
So, I had this one promising company (who hires sub-
contractors) contact me, now I can't log in to my profile
to get work started with them. I am doing the best I can,
my husband is doing the best he can, we just need prayer
for grace to get on our feet with finances and relationships.
We appreciate all your prayers & support.

Sweetheart, not all that say Lord, Lord, will enter in. And it seems to be those who we call friends that hurt us the most. You are doing the wise thing, in forgiving her as much as you're able, then moving on.

When we get saved, our sins are forgiven, but unfortunately, our bad choices are still there. However, now we have the Lord to help us through, and to give us wisdom to make better choices, and to clean up the mess we made before we HAD Him. We've all gone through this, and I can guarantee you that this community is chock full of beautiful, Godly ladies that will encourage and strengthen you with prayer. We are very blessed to be able to come here, as often as we need to, to get encouraged and lifted up in prayer. Come often, honey, and visit us.

God bless

You sound very wise, and your reply was very empathic, thank you for understanding. During my time in the hospital and for weeks upon weeks, taking one day at a time(my recovery), was the longest testing time I have ever had from the Lord, but He delivered me from so much oppression, it no doubt was going to take some time and effort and not to mention mercy from God to break. It was a harvest from poor decisions made on my part the last few years, and it all came tumbling down on me all at once, even though I had repented from poor choices for a year now. It eventually catches up, but God in His great mercy and Grace, delivered me. I am doing good physically, and other areas of my life are being re-built, day by day, I just need to stay strong, I need that reassurance from the body of Christ, that encouragement that comes through our sisters in the Lord. Unfortunately, this person that stole from me, says she loves God and follows Christ- she still attests to her innocence, never really admitted her obvious love of money. I forgive her, I just feel sorry for her, that she would say she loves God, but doesn't see her need for the fellowship of other believers and is even willing to step on another believer to get ahead financially, it's sad. I still try to think the best of everyone, esp. if they say they are a Christ follower, I just didn't see any real Christian love coming from her.

Thank you so much, yes there are a lot of people needing comfort in this rough economy.
I accept God's comfort and provision. He is the one who can do all things.

Father, when we choose to do the right thing, sometimes 'something' will come along to test whether we truly ARE willing to choose the path of righteousness. We ask that You bless Leann's business with MORE work than she had before Satan stepped in. We ask for wild crazy faith for the entire family, that they will know for a certainty that it is YOU that supplies their living, not the world. We ask for joy and peace and grace in this situation, that, when it is all said and done, You will get the glory, as people watch them suffer through this. Thank You for Leann, Father, may she be a blessing to us for many years to come. In Jesus' Name, amen.

God bless, sweetheart

I read your other post and responded but I didn't know that someone you hired stole your customers right from under your nose whilst you were in hospital. How shocking! It's an appalling thing to do and whilst I believe in free market enterprise, you don't bite the hand that feeds you. Shame on her! And you're very Christian for forgiving her - I feel as though I probably wouldn't.

It may be a cliché that when one door closes another one opens - but it's true! And never more so than when you trust in the Lord to provide another opportunity to build up your business again (or maybe even diversify into a new line of work). There are opportunities out there and the Lord will help you find them.

I also pray that you & your husband will be able to arrange another dinner date and you'll be able to share happy times together building a strong marriage - even in the face of the the current adversity you're experiencing. All the best to you & your family.
