This is just a list of scriptures that are great to wake up to in the morning. I have never really been a morning person, but spending time with God in the morning is very important to me. I just wanted to share some of my good morning scriptures with you. Feel free to add some scriptures that you love waking up to!

Good Morning Scriptures:

Genesis 1:4-5
4 God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

Psalm 5:3
In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.

Isaiah 50:4
The Sovereign LORD has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught.

Psalm 88:13
But I cry to you for help, O LORD; in the morning my prayer comes before you.

Lamentations 3:22-24
22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. 24 I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him."

Psalm 90:14
Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.

Isaiah 33:2
O LORD, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.

Psalm 92:1-2
1 It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High, 2 to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night,

Psalm 143:8
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

2 Peter 1:19
And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

Psalm 30:5
For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

Psalm 59:16
But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.

Ecclesiastes 11:6
Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let not your hands be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.

Psalm 108:1-3
1 My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul. 2 Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. 3 I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.

Psalm 57:8
Awake, my soul! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.

Psalm 65:8
Those living far away fear your wonders; where morning dawns and evening fades you call forth songs of joy.

Proverbs 31:15
She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls.

1 Thessalonians 5:10
He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.

Proverbs 20:13
Do not love sleep or you will grow poor; stay awake and you will have food to spare.

Psalm 17:15
And I—in righteousness I will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness.

One more thing, I am the original non morning person. But I have found that if I get up between 5 and 6 and spend time with My heavenly Father Abba, Daddy( Anne's translation) my day goes off the charts better than if I sleep in until 7:30 when my husband needs to get up for work.

Anne, I completely agree with you! If I get up at 6am and spend time with God, then at 7 when I have to wake my kids, and my husband up I am in a much better mood! It just sets me up for a great day! I also am not a morning person.... at all. But spending time with God in the morning changes my view on everything. Getting out of the bed is the hard part. That is why I gathered my Good Morning Scriptures!

Here are some more good morning scriptures that I have added to my list.

Proverbs 6:9

How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep?

Psalm 3:5

I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.

Jeremiah 31:26

At this I awoke and looked around. My sleep had been pleasant to me.

Hi to both of my sisters in Christ, I am not sure these verses are in the same vain as the versed you posted but here goes.

28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,[j] who[k] have been called according to his purpose. 29For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
31What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."[l] 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[m] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

These verses remind me that No Matter What my morning, noon, or night may bring God is in the center of it because I I love God and willing answer when He His call for His purpose.

Wonderful! As you know from other circle, trying to be a morning person, but still have way to go.

My favorite is the last good morning scripture, Psalm 118:24. I remind myself of that as soon as I can think straight, lol.
