Indeed, it has been a very long time since I have posted. Life gets so busy and it has been for the last 3 months. Thus just a quick prayer because the more prayers I can get lifted up, I would so appreciate it! My husband just recently was deployed to Iraq for a year! About 2 months ago, I prayed my prayer and of course this one was just a little more moving but the Holy Spirit moved within me so much and God told me in this at ease way everything was going to be okay. So I know and my faith is so strong that I without a doubt have no issues knowing that I will be ok and my husband will be okay! But please just say a quick prayer for him as well as the other soldiers and their families. Along with my daughter, she is 7 years old and very much a daddy’s girl. We have sat down with her and prayed with each other and talked to her and have tried to comfort her with everything we can! But she is having a really hard time with this. She gets that he has to do this and she knows (because we have told her) that we have to loan daddy out so he can help other little girls and their families! But still it is really really hard for her! So if you could also say a prayer for her and just lift her up in your prayers it would help because I know who our comforter is and so does she!!! Thank you and may God Bless you ladies!

Thank you ladies so much. Carla, I just got chills when I read your prayer. Thank you so much! We set up a email account for her and her daddy so they can "email' each other back and forth and so far she is loving that! But thank you so very much!

Father, this is hard. The men are standing up for their faith in the American freedom, but this stand affects the entire family. We pray, first, for protection for all our troops, wherever they are. Hold them tightly. They are far from home, in a strange land, and have divided loyalties, between country and family. Bless them, keep them. Secondly, we pray for the wives that have to be mother, father, provider, protector, holding the family together while their husbands are gone. We pray You give them strength and faith to not be overcome with the magnitude of this responsibility, but find who they are in You. Lastly, we pray for their children. Kids don't understand why Daddy's gone, they just know he is. They go to ball games, dance recitals and see the other kids with their dads in the audience, and know theirs is not there. I pray You be their Daddy until theirs comes home. I pray You protect their hearts and comfort their fears. I pray You wrap Yourself tightly around these families and protect them from the Enemy. I pray strength, courage, loyalty and singleness of heart and mind until You bring them home again. In Jesus' Name, amen.

Thank you, Jennifer, for loaning us your husband so we can sit here at our computers, safe and warm. God bless.
