I am looking for some good christian friends who we can hang out with.. i've been tring to limit hanging out with my old frinds.
i have a 4 year old son, and a almost 2 year old daughter,, lol 2 in may :)

Hi Natasha, Like Clara I too as an older mom. Our daughters are 22 and 27. I found this group just about the time our daughters were moving away to go to college. It has helped to have these wonderful Christian Sisters to talk to and Pray with and for. The amazing thing about this Community and the friendships formed here is that even though we may live in different Cities or even Countries the Friendship and Love that grows between these moms is just as real as if we were in the same neighborhood and could go out to coffee or have the children and moms in for a Play date.

Marylea, although I am not young, I am in your shoes. I don't have friends physically near me, but I have found the sisters online to be of great comfort, and are closer to me than my own family. As a young mother, I know it's difficult to find people to hang with of your own age, AND are Christians. I was 16 when I had my first, so I didn't fit in with the other mothers in my church, and my friends were out dating! I was married. So, to you and Natasha, I would say pray for God to bring you the perfect friend, one who will lift you up, to encourage you and to walk with you. It is vital to watch who you spend time with. Make sure it's someone who believes the way you do. Some people SAY they're Christians, but you find out they are not.

Hey my name is Marylea, I have an almost two year old daughter as well (she'll be two in April). I'm not sure where you live, but I live in British Columbia. I find its really hard to find Christian friends my age, espeically since I have a kid (I'm almost 21) I've pretty much cut myself off from all my old friends so I know how you feel.

Hi Natasha! Christian friends are great to have, and very important in our walks with God. I have been in the boat that you are in (and still kind of am), I don't have many Christian friends near me, but I have several online sisters that are great encouragement. The best thing for finding Christian friends near you is to join a women's Bible study, MOPS group or something similar. I don't know where you are located, but I'm in Colorado, if you live anywhere near me, I would be more than happy to get together. :) I have 2 boys (8 and 6) and twin girls that are 3.
