How long before labour did you start to "nest"?

I'm just curious when this happened (if at all) for you? And what types of things did you do? I am definitely nesting right now (with 3 weeks left). I have been on a couple days long cleaning and organizing spree. Have also had large urges to cook and bake. It's my first, so I think there is still awhile before baby makes an appearance.

I just noticed some nesting habits starting this week. More cleaning than usual and figuring out where things need to be moved, etc. I'm 10 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child.

With my first baby I started nesting at about 5 1/2 months... With baby #2 ummm about 2 weeks after his birth haha! If you feel the urge go for it- it helps you prepare and get your mood in the right place, not to mention the bond you are building... :)

I was in the 9th month with about 2-3 weeks left (until due date) and I would clean, cook, make sure I have everything for baby. I would tire myself out trying to do everything at once. She was born 2 days before the due date. My mom cooked a lot (she had 3 kids) and would frantically clean everything. Good luck to you! Oh and don't overdo it!

With my mom it was just a couple days. She had 3 babies in 3 years, and I was 10,11 and 12, so I remember it well. Dad always joked that when she started baking cookies, the baby was coming ;)

Congratulations, sweetheart. Your life will NEVER be the same, but there is nothing more satisfying and fulfilling than being a mother.

God bless
