Thank God, honey! We pray continued covering over you and the baby. Let us know how things progress.

While pregnant with my first daughter I had some bleeding at 12 weeks. It scared me so bad. I rushed to the ER, sat there for what seemed like eternity, and they drew blood and did and ultrasound. They said everything looked great for her and that they saw nothing wrong. They said I most likely busted a blood vessel in the vaginal wall from straining due to lifting more than I should have. They said that can also happen if constipated or from sex as well. You are right in the fact that there isn't much they can do if something is wrong but if it makes you feel better then I would just go.

Before twelve weeks there's not much that can be done, but afterward there are medications that might help with a miscarriage. However, like everybody else said, usually a bit of spotting is not anything to worry about. Hope your doctor's appointment brought reassuring news!

Marcie,
Hang in there. I spotted with both my boys and they turned out healthy and beautiful. It is something you need to let your doctor know. They did not put me on bedrest, but the Lord did have each child come four weeks early with no problems! Trust the Lord and turn your baby over to Him. He knows more than any doctor or person on earth. He loves your child more than you do and already knows that baby's place! Isn't it amazing? Rest and do not worry. That is not good for you or the baby.

is the blood bright red or more brown? i'm not saying don't go to the doctor, but generally it being bright red would be more of a concern. praying for you!

Ditto, better to be safe than sorry. I would say, however, try to stay as calm as possible. Freaking out won't help anything. Pray, stay calm, call doctor.

God bless, honey

When I was pregnant with my girls, I spotted off and on for the first 4 months. I called the doctor every time it seemed to be a little heavier and went in between appts. a lot. Go to the doctor! It is better just to get checked out!

I would go to the doctor. My husbands cousin started spotting and lost the baby. It may be normal but it is better to be safe. Also peace of mind.

when I was 2 months along with my youngest I had a full period. I wouldn't worry too much about a little spotting. TH eonly reason I didn't rush to the dr was b/c I didn't know I was pregnant. I had to have fertility treatments with my first 2, so I thought I was safe. lol. If it doesn't stop by the end of the day, I would call the DR just to be safe. Good luck
