Hi everyone,

I wanted to make some Christian cookies- besides a Cross can anyone else think of some cookie cutter shapes I can make some sugar cookies with?

You will easily find cookie recipes on the Internet for Christmas and Easter cookies.



Also you could find cutters (or just create shapes freehand) for Harvest, Thanksgiving & Pentecost.

Don't forget Faith, Hope & Charity either. Faith's a cross, Hope's an anchor and Charity/Love is a heart. You could cut any kind of cookie dough into these shapes.

Make round sugar cookies and then use frosting to make the 10 Commandments.



Other shapes:

Fruit - for Fruit of the Spirit

Elephants - known for sharing (Acts 2:44-46)

Dove - Holy Spirit and Noah's Ark

Rainbow - God's Promise

Lamb - Jesus is the Lamb of God

Leaf - Adam and Eve or Palm Sunday

Tree - Zaccheus in the Sycamore Tree

Sword - Armor of God (Ephesians 6 - sword of the spirit)

Rectangle - use black frosting to cover and yellow frosting to write "Bible"

Seed Shape - Parable of the Sower

Apple - The First Sin

Round Shape - decorate like a flaming chariot wheel (Elijah)

Well...I think I have some angel cookie cutters. I suppose you could do a heart since God is love. If you could find a dove, you could do that. I can't think of anything else.
