Alot of moms visit the local library-I know it isn't at home, but you can check out new books, videos and all kinds of "new" things to take home. Our library has story hour, where you can meet other moms in the area and maybe make some new playmates for your girls.

Hi! I am about to move to Indiana within a couple months time.  I am from Washington and when I visited IN two winters ago, it was a block of ice!  My husband assures me they have more sun than we do here in WA. : )  I hope moms are able to help you and I will probably be peaking at answers.  I know I will need them as I have no intention of driving in the snow.  :)

Good Luck!

Hi, I'm in Mn and it's also very cold here.   My 2 yr old is really into playdoh right now.   She absolutely loves it.  We have homemade stuff which is very easy to make and very inexpensive.   We haven't even boughten any toys for her to use with it...I just bring out kitchen utinsils etc...    Mostly she loves to make snakes right now LOL.   We also play blocks, we make a ball with a piece of paper and use a laundry hamper to throw it into....she loves to use her play kitchen and food....I also am starting to let her help me in the kitchen a bit...when I'm making something that is not on the stove...like  a salad, pudding, etc...   She loves to stir and make something yummy for daddy for dinner.
