My grandparents on my moms side both died young of cancer, and one of her sisters. I am just patiently waiting for my CA125 blood test to come back. But in the mean time, Im pretty nervous!! So, Im just doing a lot of praying, but could use some more!! Thanks in advance!!

My prayers are with you Jenifer. I'm a cancer survivor (twice). First was with ovarian and cervical. Unfortunately that resulted in a total hysterectomy, but I'm so blessed to be here for my children every day. The Lord is by your side. Keep us updated please.

I will be praying.  Rest in our Lord during this time - His promises are all about times of fear.  He'll meet you where you are as He longs to satisfy.

I am 35 yrs old, have been married for almost 10 yrs, and have 4 beautiful daughters.  This past year I was faced w/ a similar situation, it was my thyroid.  I had a goiter, multiple nodules and had the fna(fine needle aspiration).  Last year, it came back benign, thank you God.  This year the nodules grew significantly and it was recommended I have my thyroid removed.  I have a family history of thyroid cancer.  I had my surgery 7 wks ago, it was a difficult recovery during the holidays but all I could do was trust that God has a plan for each one of us and we may be unable to make sense of it at the moment but in time it reveals itself.  The pathologist report came back and it was benign.  I was prepared either way and trusted in God's plan for me.  My thoughts and prayers are w/ you and your family.

My husband battle cancer 2 years ago and is doing great. I remember a quote someone gave to me that seemed to really help fuel my faith: "Don't tell God how big your problems are, tell your problems how big your God is."

Trust in Him and know He is with you. Praying for good news.

Jennifer- I can relate to your fear. I was have been there several times myself but thanks to prayer my CA125 levels were normal. It is my prayer that the levels will be normal and that the Lord will heal you of the cysts. Please keep us up-to-date so that we may continue to pray with you and your family. Jenifer, something told me to click on your subject to read your message. Perhaps I was meant to connect with you. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer during my senior year in college. At the time, the Internet wasn't as well known as it is today and there wasn't much information at the library. I too was scared. I wasn't afraid of dying  (like I said, I was in college, so I didn't have a husband/children/etc., but it would be different if I had). I was worried for my family, about what the future would hold and the idea that I may not be able to have kids. I leaned on my friends a lot, my church family and God.

I was lucky/blessed. I had stage one and it was contained and taken out with surgery. That was 11 years ago. Today, I have a 9-month-old son and I have a wonderful husband. God is amazing. We never know His plans for us. But we can always know that He is with us and holds us close. I hope you can feel His presence.

I'm not sure what I can say to you to ease your worries. Getting a blood test is a great first step. Have you had ultrasounds done yet? Also, find a doctor who has experience with ovarian/women's cancers.

I will be praying for you and hope you're healthy. Please keep me updated. Many Blessings.

Just an update....I recieved a call from my physicians nurse, and she said ALL my labs looked good! I asked her if the CA-125 test was okay, just to double check, because that had to be sent to Rochester, MN. And she said she was not certain that one was back or not. All the Dr said was to call me and tell me my labs looked good, she said she would double check with the dr and call me back, but I didnt hear anything yet. As of right now, IM JUMPING FOR JOY, and staying positive, I feel everything will be fine! Thanks so very much for all the prayers, it means more than you will ever know!

1I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
2My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.

3He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber.
4Behold, he who keeps Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5The Lord is your keeper;
the Lord is your shade on your right hand.
6The sun shall not strike you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7The Lord will keep you from all evil;
he will keep your life.
8The Lord will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore.

Jen,

I am praying for you right now. I pray for comfort and epace that passes understanding. I pray specifically for healing, but i want to remind you that there are 3 outcomes to a fire...to be saved from it, to be saved while in it, and to be taken home because of it. I pray God's will be done and that you will surrender your fear to Him.

In Christ,

Elizabeth

Hi everyone....Im still waiting for the results, and staying very positive! I just keep praying, and talking to God. I don't want to talk with my family too much about it, they will worry and I want to wait until I know for sure. It has helped more than you know! I have felt such peace these last couple days! Thanks again! I should know something today or tomorrow!

I will pray that He will not only heal you, but give you His peace while you are waiting. Much love, Jill

Thank you all for the prayers, I am feeling better. I have spent most of the day with God (and my 18mo old) and reading a great book called the simple power of prayer, by Joyce Meyer. It is a awesome book, thanks again I really appreciate it, and I will keep you posted!

Jenifer I'm praying for you too. You know Jesus empowered us with the Holy Spirit, in Jesus name you can break any generational curse of cancer off you and your children. Stay strong and be courageous because God said He would be with you wherever you go and whatever you go through. God doesn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. I pray this all over you and ask God to surround you with His peace, love, and protection. Lord bless you and your family.

Lord, I pray for Your abundant Peace to wash over Jenifer. I pray that she would not allow her mind to go to the uncertain, but rather focus on You and Your Word, which is certain. I pray that the blood test would come back negative. Use this time to draw Jenifer close to You, and may Your wrap your arms around her right now I ask in Jesus' Name.
