Hey Ladies,

I know what a faith filled bunch of women are in our little community here and there for I am asking for prayer.

This week has been such a tough week. At the beginning of the week we found out that a dear Aunt of mine back in the UK has Lukemia, she's in her 80's and also has Altimers, so they have said that she doesn't have all that long left, we are praying for the finances to go visit one last time (we are in Canada & there is 5 of us, me, hubby & 3 daughters).

Also today my mothers home was broken into and robbed. She is so distraught and it grieves me to see her that way. Please pray for 1stly her to come to know the LORD andalso for her to get her peace back, my sister is staying with her as she couldn't be alone and unfortunately my dad is out of the country on business.

I thank you all in advance for your prayers.

Much love in Christ,

V. xx

Wednesday 7th July 2010 (Update)

I posted this as a regular post, but thought I should add it to the main post.

This morning after my Mum left the UK to head home, my Aunt Eve, passed away. I never did get back to see her, but I believe she knew how much she was loved and how much she'll be missed. Now she is out of the body that was causing her so much pain & with our Lord. Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement through the last couple of month.

Love in Christ, V. xx

Victoria, I just saw this stream of posts and not sure why tonight it came to mind. I do know that God does things on purpose. Although you were not able to see your Aunt before she passed I am certain your love conveyed. Let the memories you have be a living memorial for you and your family. Peace to you and your family (and the kitten) In Him, HTG

Thanks for the update Victoria. I will be praying for God to be with your family during this time and for Him to be your comfort.

The righteous perish,

and no one ponders it in his heart;

devout men are taken away,

and no one understands

that the righteous are taken away

So we got a call this morning. My Mum is headed to the UK tomorrow, the doctors have said that my Aunt seems to be hanging on foe some reason & the UK family members think it's because none of the Canadian contingency have gone to her yet. She can no longer talk, she's hasn't been eating except by IV and she only sips a little water here and there.

I am heart broken that I can't go to her, but at least my mum is going. I thank everyone for their prayers & love.

In Christ, V.

Thanks so much Heather.

My Aunt is on the Cancer ward now, they won't give us an estimate of time she has left anymore, so we're really just trusting God to get us there & keep her alive until we see her.

So my Aunt with Lukema in the UK is back in hospital and it is doubtful she will be coming out again. We're still believing for a miracle of finances to get us there in time to say goodbye, before she leaves us.

Thank you so much for your continued prayer.

Love in Christ,
V.

A little praise report. Today we got a new cat. She's just a kitten 10weeks old. She obviously doesn't replace our lost cat Sugar who was killed on Monday, but she is a blessing and a welcome member to our household & we are praising God for her.

We are still trusting God for everything else to work out. Thank you again for all the love and prayer I truly sense it reaching out to me & touching my life.

Once again thank you all. The girls took the news of the cat pretty hard. My oldest is still quite upset, my middle daughter is scared that we buried it alive & also has been having nightmares that her dad & I are going to die. My youngest doesn't quite get the concept only being 4 & thinks that we can just make Sugar (the cat) come back again.

Tomorrow we are going to look for another cat as a family, we've told them that it won't replace Sugar, but it like Sugar needs a good home. We've been praying about it & have asked God to lead us to the cat He has for us, we believe Sugar was given to us by God because He knew her life would be short, but knew that with us she'd be loved very much. This is what we have told the girls.

Mum is still very shook up over the break in & theft last Friday & today has been the worst with it being a week to the day. Also now the insurance company are playing hard ball wanting original receipts for heirlooms that are over 300 years old.

As for my Aunt, she is currently stable, but we still need the finances to get over their so we can say good bye, before she departs.

I will continue to keep you updated. I do truly believe God's hand is over the situation.

I am so blessed as I have truly sensed the love of God & the ministry done as you have all been praying. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, although Thank you doesn't seem enough.

I will definitely keep you and your family in my prayers. Unfortunately, Christ promised us that there would be tribulations in this world, but the wonderful promise He attached to that was that we should not worry for He has overcome the world.

God Bless you my sister in Christ,

I am praying for you and your family. I have something to show you. In Exodus Moses prayed to God to help him when he needed to part the Red Sea and God said why are you asking me hold up your Rod and command it to be. Our faith is our rod and we need to command it to be done so command the finances to be and believe, for with God all things are possible, and they will be there. I love all my brothers and sisters, GOD BLESS!!

Hi Victoria,
your call for prayer caught my attention as I am also in a similar situation..my aunt and uncle are in critical condition in Papua New Guinea (Just above Australia) I am in Fiji..haven't seen them since 2000...and don't have the financial means to go....it would cost about $US 5,000,00 for my family of 5 to visit (self, husband and three children)...My brother has been encouraging me to pray for a door to open so that the whole family can help to pay for the trip...I prayed this morning to the God who owns all that is on earth including money...for finance that we could go over. I am hoping for positive ansewrs....that is faith...something that comes out of our heart and which others see as impossible but we still reach out to God as the one who will provide and see this through...I am encouraging you to take a step of faith and claim what is yours as the child of the creator of heaven and earth...I will keep in touch concerning my situation...I stand with you in this situation that your prayer be answered...and you get to see your aunt. Faith is hoping and seeing the possible outcome and rejoicing over it even though it is not seen physically...We claim our sponsors to go and see our beloveds..In Jesus Mighty Name...Amen..
