I would start trying to potty train her. My son started potty training at 21 months & he was out of diapers by 2 during the day & all night by about 4 months after his 2nd birthday.

Do you think she might want to be a big girl and use the potty? I've read that a lot of children don't want the diaper anymore but the parents miss the ques! If your consistent she'll catch on, especially if she wants to!

potty train her! my daughter is 23 months. she started taking her clothes and diaper off a few months ago, and telling me she "need a go pee". i haven't been consistent with her training, since i just gave birth to my fifth 2 months ago, but she's just about ready to get out of diapers completely, and now she only strips when she really needs to use the potty.

It sounds definitley like potty time. I also second the suggestion about the onesie with the snap or a shirt with a snap.

Leave it off. Put panties on her and start potty training. My daughter did the same thing. May be she doesnt want the pee or poop on her anymore. My daughter went as far as taking her's off and pooping in the floor. I put pull ups on her ONLY if we were going somewhere, or shopping, etc. But at home, panties and those Gerber plastic covers over them.

My sister's daughter was doing that too, and she explained to her that she had to keep it on until she was ready to go potty. You would be surprised how much they really understand. For a few months she left it alone and then brought the diapers to her mom and said "I don't need these anymore". That was it!

Thank you to all! Great advise. I will try them all. I have been using tape but not duct tape, that's next! I will try putting her diaper on backwards, that I haven't tried. But thank you again, I have some more ideas now!

I agree with the one-piece snap shirts. My son did that for awhile and I just bought the snap shirts. He couldn't get them off! :) If you think your daughter is ready for potty training, then by all means try that, but my son definitely wasn't at that age...

I'm not sure when your daughter will not leave her diaper on but... I have a friend whose daughter did the same thing only at night. They would go in to get her in the morning and she would be completely undressed with no diaper on. They have started putting her PJ's on backwards and it has worked. She can't reach the zipper in the back to take off her clothes. Hope this helps.

I agree with the duct tape! I used it with my daughter and it worked like a champ! Or you could try with pull ups; those helped to keep my daughter from taking her diaper off!

My son did the same thing. I'd say keep pants on her but mine would just take all of his clothes off. The only thing that worked for me was to put tops on him that snapped at the bottom. He couldn't reach down to unsnap it. Other than that it will eventually pass, mine hasn't done it in a while.
