my son johnny is 17. he is getting into a life of drinking and drugs. i resently sent him to his fathers in tx. hoping the change of people and places would help him find the narrow path again. now i fear that his father is'nt helping the situation any, he is'nt the best influence. i dont know what else to do. need prayer!

I will pray and have my church pray. God will bring you through this. He did me I was your son 10 yrs ago. Then God gave me my husband, we have now been married happily for 8yrs (have been together 9yrs) and have a beautiful 4yr old daughter. KJV Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. We can hold fast to his promises. Our love and prayers are with you. May God Bless you.

I am praying for you! I know what it is like to have to deal with people who drink and is an alcoholic. This is definitely a very hard thing to deal with especially being your son. If he is hooked on this I would find him help! If you have to put him in a detox center or hospital I would do it. I know he will be extremely mad at you for a while but you have to do something. God will take care of this we just have to keep praying for help and guidance. Keep faith that God will help you and your son deal with this terrible disease, because that is what it is. Please know that I'm here if you ever need to talk and know that I am praying for you and your son. Your friend in Christ! mary

And lots of it!!! Hang in there and keep praying. Keep him on your church's prayer list every week!! Check out the conversation about the 13 year old not wanting to goto church. There are tons of ladies there who said they strayed from the Lord for years but came back later in life.
