Hello all! I am a new mommy to a beautiful 19-week old girl from Des Moines, IA. My family attends Heartland Christian Fellowship (a Calvary Chapel church)... actually we live on the church property! I am a stay-at-home mom but I'm also the church secretary, so we live in a small cottage right next door. The pastor and his wife live next to us & just happen to be our very best friends in the whole world. :) Not a bad set up if I do say so myself! There are many moms in our small church body here, but I look forward to getting to know a few more outside my little bubble!

Hi! I'm new too....I'm drawn to your post cuz I was raised on a small town on HWY 141 about 60mi W of DSM! I'm in Texas now...but I miss Iowa :O)
