My son has a speech impairment post stroke... and now he's in JK he's struggling... he said today 'I can't talk' with a sad look in his eyes. Please pray that he'll make a friend and that he will gain his confidence back. :(

Poor baby! I want to share my granddaughter's story with you, Laurie. She was about 18months, and showing every classic sign for autism. My son, his mother-in-law and I simply couldn't accept this. We started banging on the gates of Heaven. Nothing really happened for a couple years, until the school started teaching her sign language, and taught her parents enough for them to communicate. Once she was able to let them know what she wanted, her anger and frustration level dropped dramatically! We thought THIS was the miracle, except God had more in store for us! She started talking! Once she started talking, every other trace of autism went with it! She is now in 2 grade, bright, funny, full of life. God answered our prayers in a truly miraculous way!
I am praying for your son, Laurie, that God will touch him and start the work in him. I pray for kind, compassionate friends to share this journey with him. I pray, most of all, that each day you will see the sparkle in his eye return, and he will have a joy and zest for life most people will envy.
