My family and I are involved in bringing a new church to our community. It is a cafe style worship service. We have a worship and praise band and childrens ministry. I just know that Satan is working against us. He doesn't want the Lord to do work here in our city and we need prayer warriors from all over to pray that Muscatine Iowa would become a beacon of His light. Pray for our band and its members and for our pastor (Jason) and his family to be resistant to Satan and to be strong in the mind of Christ to be the leaders we are called to be. Bandmember names are Shannon(me) Gene(husband) Natalie and Jim(sister and brotherinlaw) Mark(brotherinlaw) Craig, and Gordon (only two not related to me lol). Thank you for your prayers and our launch for the church is Jan 15th. We appreciate the continued prayers and support from out Christian sisters and brothers.

Thank you all for the prayers. We appreciate it so much. Cherri, I will definitely pray for your church as well. It is very exciting! I can't wait till the launch but im a little nervous. I know God is leading us and His plan is in action so things will fall into place b/c we trust Him.

My husband is a pastor/church planter in Washington state. We will begin work on planting a new church this month. We have done this before, so know some of the struggles you and we will face. We will certainly hold you up in prayer. Will you do the same for us?

Father, see Shannon and her group as they bring this new church to their town. Hover over them, Holy Spirit, and protect, guide and teach them what exactly YOU want spread. Give them abundant love for the lost, patience when they want to tear their hair out or quit, and peace, knowing You are the Author of their work. Bless, lead, comfort, strengthen them in Jesus' Name, amen.

Just prayed for you all. This sounds like an awesome ministry. Cafe, huh? We also like to drink coffee while we worship. We have a small house church that was planted a little over a year ago. Praying for the best for you. Just remember that you're doing God's work, and of course Satan is against that. if Satan wasn't against what you were doing then you should be questioning ;-D Happy LAUNCH! :-) (let me know how it goes!)
